  • VOLUNTEER SPEAK

“It feels so blissful whenever I get an opportunity to participate in any new initiative taken by our CSR team. Making the children smile and motivating them further to live their heart out is a feeling unexpressed. Every time I see them boosted with extra courage to live their life with all the confidence and that’s so fulfilling to the soul.”

  • VOLUNTEER SPEAK

Bata Children Programme India team presented a big hall for having mid day meals in a comfortable and hygiene manner to the children of the school in Gurgaon, adopted under BCP. The Indian Government provides free mid day meals to the government school children across all age groups. However, since the inception of the school, about 25 years back, the school premise did have any designated place wherein the children can sit and have their meals. The girls were not allowed to eat their meals inside their classrooms; hence they used to sit outside the classrooms on the floor to have their meals every day. The school authorities used to wash utensils in open area near the playground as there was no designated place.
